I’m Ace, a React Native developer. I lead mobile builds in TypeScript for teams in Nigeria, Toronto and Dubai. I also run Zowis Fashion, my own brand, on infrastructure I built myself.

    Five Sinimax screens: a personalised home rail of Nollywood classics with a genre filter; a watch-together sheet for joining a room by invite code; a CrossWatch player where two viewers chat alongside the film; a plan picker billed against phone credit; and search, with popular titles across the continent.
    • Architected the app from scratch on a component system: Expo, TypeScript and NativeWind.
    • Built a cross-platform video player with platform-specific fullscreen — native AVPlayerViewController on iOS, a manual absolute-overlay approach on Android — resolving sync and callback edge cases.
    • Shipped a consumption-only subscription and billing flow compliant with both stores.
    • Set up Zustand (persist) for global state and TanStack Query for server state with cache invalidation and optimistic updates.

A women’s fashion brand run end to end: the label, the e-commerce, and the company behind them. I built its commerce backend on Supabase, wired GIG logistics for delivery, and set up the ads infrastructure it sells through.

What I do

App architecture

Every build starts as a system: domain-driven types → service → hooks → screen modules at JIFU360, MVVM with Zustand at OneWallet MFB, one navigation shell reshaping itself per role at UWA. Standards get set early so a team can ship inside them.

Real-time and streaming

Live WebRTC streaming on Dolby Millicast with a custom native iOS Picture-in-Picture module at JIFU360, nurse-location tracking over Socket.IO at RightNowMD, chat on PubNub and plain WebSockets.

Payments

Stripe Connect payouts and Identity gating at Lenbi, Paystack checkout through native auth sessions at UWA, Plaid bank linking at EvriCent, and a quote-polling engine at Nexaflex so nobody signs a stale price. OneWallet MFB shipped at bank grade: biometrics, 2FA, end-to-end encryption.

Shipping to the stores

Seventeen products through App Store and Google Play review, with EAS builds and over-the-air updates as the release rail. Sentry in production, so stability is measured.
